III International Conference "Real Estate Management in Corporations" REMIC 2014, Moscow

The event was attended by more than 400 participants including the representatives of the legislative and executive authorities, heads of the major Russian and foreign companies, the leading Russian and international experts in the field of property management, employees of the development institutions and representatives of the federal business and dedicated mass media.

The conference addressed the actual issues arising in the field of property management in corporations, economical improvement and development of the business - government relationship in Russia. The main topics of discussion at all levels were:

• finding the ways for a dialogue between the governmental authorities and business in the field of land and property relations;
• improving the efficiency of assets transactions of the companies having a significant number of real estate objects on their balance.

Within the framework of the two plenary sessions and four thematic sections, more than 45 participants gave their report, among which was Dr. Franz Jurkowitsch, CEO of Warimpex Finanz-Und Beteiligungs AG, - who participated in section 4 "Managing the corporate real estate in metropolitan areas. Corporate concerns and progressive formation of urban environment". Mr. Jurkowitsch, referring to years of his successful experience in the investment business, spoke of the pros and cons of real estate purchase and leasing the premises. Also, CEO of Warimpex Finanz-Und Beteiligungs AG briefly presented the forthcoming project for development of a multifunctional complex "AIRPORTCITY St. Petersburg" to the participants of the conference.

Ultimately, REMIC 2014 approved the amended draft resolution containing the requisite proposals and measures aimed at improvement of the country’s business climate.
