Agreement on cooperation within the Pulkovo project signed at MIPIM 2019 between the AIRPORTCITY St. Petersburg mixed-use complex and the government of St. Petersburg

A mixed-use hotel complex is to be built near the Pulkovo airport by 2027. The agreement on cooperation within the project was signed by the investor of AIRPORTCITY St. Petersburg mixed-use complex and Eduard Batanov, Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, on March 12, 2019 at the anniversary MIPIM real estate exhibition in Cannes.

The agreement provides for the construction and operation of a complex including a hotel, a parking building, sales premises and a business centre. The project is supposed to promote the economic development of the Northern Capital of Russia and create a new comfortable tourist environment, as well as additional workplaces. The construction of a modern mixed-use complex corresponds to St. Petersburg's social and economic development objectives, including the development of hotel infrastructure in the mid-range segment.

Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs AG company from Austria is going to invest at least 1.1 billion rubles. The government of St. Petersburg will act as a consultant and will provide information support during the project implementation.

The MIPIM International Exhibition is held for the thirtieth time. MIPIM is one of the leading investment events, where the latest commercial real estate projects and industry trends are presented for four days. Among speakers there are investors, heads of government authorities, developers and consultants from various real estate sectors.
